Because common sense is in short supply at times, we decided to put together a nice short list of what you can do to get yourself "banned" at Shootclub.
Here are the items I have seen in the past, but we are sure there will be new items added as we continue on.
- Do not hold multiple accounts, either to cross-vote to give your wrestler an advantage with promo scoring or to simply extend or expand your free trial period. Cross-voting is flat out cheating and rude to your fellow competitors. The second one is simply rude to us, the admins of Shootclub, who provide this game for very little cost.
- Do not use your power and influence as a promoter or official to subvert the game. You have been given a trust by admins and if you abuse that trust we will not forget it.
- Do not post personal attacks or threats against other players in the game. This is a game, its suppose to be fun. If you threaten another player on our site, don't expect your account to be around very long.
- Do not post Hate Speech. Whether this is creating a stereotype character that is designed strictly to offend or creating an offensive character that uses racial/cultural/sexual epithets. Also, don't try and skirt this issue by creating a Nazi, Klansmen, or some other character. If you do, that character will be judged very harshly and will never be given a break just because its a "character".
- Do not post pornographic (or near pornographic) material. This game is to be PG-13. Not Rated R. And no, just because the WWE/F does it or has done it in the past, doesn't make it automatically acceptable.
- Do not cheat. Don't cheat in the game. Don't try to steal an account or break into another account. Don't commit identity theft via PayPal. etc. etc.
- Do not cover up by editing. If you break one of the above rules, don't attempt to cover it up by swapping out your promo/news/match by editing it. Instead, please let us know about the mistake on the Promoter Forum and we will work together on the solution. If you try to be sneaky, the reprucussions will be 10x worse.
- Do not ignore our warnings or take them lightly. If you got a warning then consider yourself lucky because some people won't even get that. Also realize that there will not be a 2nd warning... we are not your parents, we don't have to put up with you.
- Do not waste your breath. If you broke these rules, don't waste our time with an apology... just go away, we don't want people like you in our game anyways.
