A National Promotion is a territory that has a presence throughout its country of origin. National status is the highest level an individual league can rise to in the SWA and is where the top talent in the SWA call their home.

A Regional Promotion is a territory that has expanded its across its once limited territorial borders and now runs shows in a much wider area. A Regional promotion does not have a National presence but savvy fans from around the world follow its activity via magazines, tape trading, and the internet.

A Territorial Promotion is the smallest independently owned and operated organizations in the SWA. A Territory runs shows from a base city and travels only a small local area. Territorial promotions are the first destination for new wrestlers after they exit training.

Rookie Leagues are SWA owned and operated and provide new wrestlers a place to train in front of live crowds and truly sharpen their skills. While still considered a training facility, there are titles and wrestlers are considered actual members of the SWA. Only the new wrestlers (less than 4 months) of new players can join our rookie leagues.

Shootcamp is the SWA's official training center. Everyone from wanna-be's to promising upstarts all must pass through Shootcamp. There are matches held every day, but there are no live crowds. Wrestlers can practice in front of the mic but they cannot form tag teams or stables.

A Retired League is a promotion that was once active but shut down due to lack of roster talent, budget, or other extenuating circumstances. A Retired Promotion may be brought back at any time to give it a go in their old territory.
