Storm of Destruction
  Updated 2/8/2008 The Formation Cold Thunder and Big Thug , two of WAM's Greatest and most Charismatic Wrestlers , also the damaging parties behind Deadly Force , could not stand to be held back anymore . So Storm of Destruction was formed . It's Intent ? To change the SWA , and leave nothing but Destruction in it's wake . With their plans slowly coming apart in WAM , Cold Thunder and Big Thug decided it was time to leave . But where to go ? Where could they regroup and gather their Strength while Doubling their efforts to succeed ? UKW Upon arrival , something strange has happened . Cold Thunder and Big Thug arrive in London to find their Locker Room occupied by 4 other Stars of the SWA . Those 4 being Jaxson Powers , Jimmy "The Warden" Freeman , Fingers McTwist and Nyght Dogg . Each capable in their own right with varying levels of Skill and Technique . After a Successful couple of months in UKW , Big was seriously injured and would be out for a few months. After discussions between the two founding SoD members it was decided that the group would head back home. The place where Big and Thunder both started their careers..... LSW As Cold Thunder arrived in Texas without his friend and partner , new alliances were needed . So in come Chopper and Sludge Guts. The following month Chopper would leave but Jimmy Freeman and Nyght Dogg would rejoin the group along with Leo Wanker . The Storm Of Destruction began making a name for themselves as one of LSW`s premeir groups .Then things started to look bad , Wanker , Dogg and Freeman went their own way , Big Thug was still rehabing from a serious injury , so that left only Sludge Guts and Cold Thunder as the only full time active members. Then as quickly as things began to look down they took a turn for the better with the return of Jaxson Powers and the addition of two other top young stars in the SWA , Derek Marks and Tammy Smith. The following month SoD once again shocked the LSW fans with the addition of Shannon Bailey and Chloe Barnes. Now as The Storm strengthens even more , there is only one way for the group to go....UP! After a successful run , Cold Thunder decided he needed a break and out of the blue he disappeared and soon afterwards SoD disappeared along with him..... RSW After nearly a year just as quick as Thunder had vanished he suddenly reappeared. After a couple of phone calls he would be reunited with Jaxson Powers and Sludge Guts along with The Maelstrom , Who would win the RSW National Heavyweight Title about a month later.Shortly afterwards Shannon Baily would again join the group and formed a Tag Team with Cold Thunder known as Orgasmic Thunder. They also made an impact by winning the RSW National Tag Team Titles Four Times.Now that the reformation was complete and the Storm had begun to make an impact, Japan would never be the same! But the excitement of Japan would soon get old , Thunder began to miss the US so a move was inevitable. Now comes the OWL ENTRANCE: " The arena descends into complete darkness . The AWA-Tron begins to flicker on and off with static imagery . One word at a time , YOU THINK YOU CAN WIN , flash onto the screen . Denial by Sevendust begins to play in the background , slowly increasing in volume . YOU HAVE NO CHANCE IN HELL flashes on the screen . YOU THINK YOU CAN WIN returns to the screen again , and shortly after it fades , YOU ARE IN DENIAL appears . At that very moment , the whole arena explodes into life as bright white lights and the riff kicks in , the lights quickly fading to reveal the podium is surrounded by a wall of flame . The flames slowly begin to die , and as they do , the 6 shapes stand side by side in the middle of the podium , just barely viewable in the dying flames . They move forward and spread out evenly across the podium , walking as the flames die . Six spotlights bring each shape to life . After a slight pause that allows each member to bask in the hate of the crowd or stir them into a frenzy , they make their way to the ring ." |
